Wipro Campus placement 2015
If you are looking for a job in I.T industry then 2014-2015 is the right time for you to grab it! Wipro, Infosis and TCS are hiring lot of students in this academic year through campus placements. Wipro, one among the top three I.T companies in India and has operations all over the world helps students to build their career as a software professional.
Who can apply ?
- For appearing in Wipro campus selections, you must have at least 60% marks in 10 th and plus two
- You must have at least 60% aggregate in your university examination( average aggregate is calculated, up to the semesters in which results are published). Remember even 59.99 is not allowed, Wipro is very strict on their cut off marks !
- You should not have any arrears or backlogs at the time when you are appearing for the campus selection
- You should not have attended any campus selection procedure of Wipro for the past 90 days
After a talk by the H.R executive of wipro about their company, You are require to fill a form. BCA and PG students are part of wipro wase selection and students from other Bsc degrees are part of wipro wista selection. Online test, essay writing and HR interview are the three steps in Wipro selection procedure.
Online test consists of two parts, Analytic part and reasoning part. Analytic part consists of simple mathematics problems dealing with simple and compound interests, LCM,HCF, etc Logical reasoning test is more easy comparing to analytic test. It consists of series completion , logic statements etc. You will get 60 questions and one hour for the online test.
On the successful completion of the online test you are required to write an essay on a paper about a given topic. Importance of letter writing, Necessity to protect ancient languages, qualities of a corporate employee are the given topics in our placement drive.
The last phase of selection is the HR interview. It is to test your communicative skills and confidence level. Repeatedly asked questions in our drive are
Tell me about yourself, Hobbies,weaknesses, strengths, qualities of a software engineer, questions about your favorite topic in your studies etc

About the job
Wipro provides you an opportunity for higher education. M.S in I.T is the offered course for WASE students in association with BITS and Mtech in I.T for Wista students in collaboration with VIT university. There will be a three month training period for students. After the successful completion of the training period students will be assigned to various projects in Wipro. On joining, you would be required to sign a training agreement which is applicable to you during the
training period and up to 4 years from your date of joining. The agreement requires you to
pay Rs. 75,000 to Wipro for the cost of training incurred in the event you exit within 12 months from the date of joining. If you exit any time after 12 months
from the date of joining, you will have to pay liquidated damages of Rs 60,000. Only those students who are interested to build their career in the software field are advised to join Wipro.
